POINTS OF WHAT I LEARNT.
I learnt that as we strive to obey or do the things that will please God, there are certain things that may discourage us but we should not give up. We should always be delighted in the law of God no matter what. We should be patient to observe and do the will the will of God. We should have joy in doing the law of God. We should follow the doctrine of God irrespective of what people may do or say about us. Our focus in life should be on how to fulfill the commandment of God. We should always examine ourselves to know if we are really doing the law of God.
Washing one another's feet as taught to us by Christ means we should serve and love one another. The gift given to us by God should not be only for our own benefit but also for the benefit of others. We should serve one another in love. Love is something that we should possess for us to do what the Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to do. We should have the same mind with Christ so that we can be able to serve one another.
The proof of our love for Christ is to what he commended us to do. All the components of love is very important and so through love,we should serve one another. One of the component contained in love is that it is not proud but humble. Humility was first shown by our lord Jesus Christ so we should follow his footstep. When we look out for the things that will benefit our brethren,we are rendering our service. According to the bible,we should not lead as though we are Lord but we should serve with humility.
We should be an example for others to follow. We should imitate and be the followers of Christ. By being humble,we will be able to serve one another in love. In our service to one another,we should not overdo one another. Our mind should be united with the mind of God. We should not exalt ourselves but we should allow God to exalt us. When we have the component of humility which is love,we will not hestite to serve others rather we will be happy to serve. For us to know if we are learning the doctrines of God,we should not be afraid of test but we should know the things to do so that we can pass our test. We should try to put into practice what we learn about the doctrines of God. We should always be inspired by the life of Christ in everything we do. Our service to others should not be to show off but it should come from our heart because that is the instruction of God to us.

The study has taught me to be humble and not exalt myself while serving others.
