POINTS OF WHAT I LEARNT.
I learnt that our love for God means keeping his commandments and if we obey and do the will of God, God will manifest himself in us.
It is important that we retain the Holy Spirit as true believers because through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers are saved, filled and sanctified. The Holy Spirit teaches and guides believers and also provides wise counsel to Christ's followers. Jesus Christ knew that he would be going away and that his followers would need the Holy Spirit as a helper and an advocate to remind them of his teachings. So we should not grive the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit is God's presence in the lives of believers and also our comforter and the one who remind us the doctrine we hear. So since the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit, the Holy Spirit opens the believers' eyes to the hope of salvation and the inheritance they have in Christ. We all have times we feel weak and don't know what to do, the Holy Spirit helps us line up with God's will during those times by interceding for us. In same way, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. Through the conviction and power of the Holy Spirit, believers will not indulge in the sinful acts of the flesh but will bear the good fruit of the Spirit.
As we listen to the word of God,we should always examine ourselves to be sure that our heart is not the wayside heart. We should be alart and prayerful to avoid falling into temptation. Christ will remain in us if we keep and obey the word of God. When we seperate ourselves from the Holy Spirit because of our actions,it means that christ is no longer in us. If the word of God that purifys is no longer in us,we will become unclean. Returning to darkness after we have been purify will lead us to perdiction. The word of God is a reprove of instruction and a way of life to believers that is why we are called to holiness and not filthness. Accepting the word of God purifys and sanctifys us.
One thing the enemy uses to remove the word of God in us so that we will return to darkness after God has cleanse us is the pleasures and cares of this world. So we should not allow the devil to entice us, our focus should be in God.
As the day is approaching, the more we should exhort and remind one another of the doctrines we receive.

HOW DOES THE STUDY AFFECT ME.
The study has taught me not to separate myself from God no matter what the devil uses to entice me but rather cleave to God and store his word the more.
