Helping the needy is a kingdom mystery that secures meeting our own needs. Helping others is creating acess to receive help from God for oneself.
Proverbs 28:27
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
As you give to those who lack, God remove delay from your lack. Every needy around us is an opportunity for our change of level as we respond to level of the grace God has given us. It brings an end to our needs, and connect us to the help above far beyond more than materials things can deliver to us.
Galatians 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
We should do good to all men, especially of them who are of the household faith. Because the Bible tells us to do good unto all men, even non members, we are obligated to help them. It is God's commandment to us, as Christians to do good unto everybody, we should not help those that are in our churches only but we should also extend our helping hands to those that needs our help and supports.
