There are some people that have made up their minds that even if they hear the word of God, even if they listen to the word of God, they wil not obey Him because the devil has hardened their hearts and made them become enemies of God, and I pray that God will redeem such people. Amen!
John 8:47
Whoever is from God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear them is that you are not from God,
Psalms 115:4-8
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. 5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: 6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: 7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. 8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
Our generation have been like the idols. The false gods! The idols according to the word of God, are silver and gold, the work of men hands. They have mouths, but they speak not, eyes have they, but they see not. They have ears, but they ear not, noses have they, but they smell not. They have hands, but they handle not, feet have they, but they walk not, neither speak they, through their throat. The point is that, those that are making those idols are very much like the idols that they are making. They have practically everything that the Bible says but they are much like those idols and is everyone that trusted them. Our generation is a generation of idol worshippers. Religions that worship idols made by hands of men.
Acts 17:29
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
We ought not to think the Godhead or divinity is like those silver,or gold, or stone or wood, graven by art and man's device. There is no divinity in those idols. Anyone that makes and trusts in those idols will be likened unto them - having ears but do not ear, having eyes but cannot see.
11 Corinthians 4:4
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The light of the glorious gospel will not shine unto this people because the god of this world which is Satan has blinded the minds of them which believe not. Those who do not believe in the true God of the Bible, will automatically be blinded by the enemy of God. So you can expect them to hear and obey or listen because their ears were blocked by the power of the enemy of God.
