Cremation is the dispose of a dead person's body by burning to ashes.
we know that God did not say anything wrong or right to anyone who is cremated neither did He say that those cremated will not be resurrected by our Lord Jesus Christ on the last day. It is true that, is not the preservation of the physical bodies after death that matters but what matters is that afterward the body will be turn to dust and the spirit will go to God.
Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
It depends on ones belief either through cremation or the normal burial, but know that your body will be turn to dust and your spirit will go to God, then you will give account of how you have lived your life.
It is a personal convention, but Christians should be buried in a normal way, a Christian body must be intact, as true Christians our bones must not be broken
Psalm 34:20
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
1Corinthians 6:19-20
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
You are bought with a price so you need to glorify God with your body. You need to honor God with your body even in death. Christians should consider all these to show the hope we have in Christ.
Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Philippians 3:21
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
