Do you trust God? That’s the question I’d be starting with today. If I ask everyone that question, we all will say yes but truly, some people are still being dicey about trusting God.
A lot of us, when we pray, we have two minds thinking our prayers may be answered or not but why not trust God and say that your prayers will be answered?
Did you know that most people’s prayers don’t get answered because they don’t trust God.
Let’s take a look into Daniel’s story which can be found in the book of Daniel or Matthew 24:15. The people in the village asked anyone not to pray and if anyone prays to God, the person will be thrown into the lion’s den. Everyone knows that Daniel prays a lot and even after the rule is made, Daniel still prayed to God and he was taken to the lion’s den but Daniel wasn’t scared and that was because he had trust in God.
Do you know that if Daniel didn’t have trust in God, it was possible for the lions to eat him up but instead, God sent an angel to shut the mouth of the lions and by the time they checked the den, they found out that the lions didn’t eat Daniel up because he had faith in God.
For those who don’t have faith yet, it’s never too late. God wants us to come closer to him and one of the ways to achieve that is by trusting or having faith in him.
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.
