If we want to go to heaven, and if we want to be sure that we are going to heaven, we have to pass by the way to heaven, which is the way of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is a journey and it begins when we are on earth. After we die, there are only two destinations which we may go to which is either heaven or hell. Now, your actions on earth will be the determinant to know if you will be going to heaven or hell.
As for me, I only know about the way to the heaven which is by acting just exactly how it is portrayed by Jesus Christ in the Bible.
In the book of Deuteronomy 30:19, the Bible says;
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
The fact that God has given us the freedom to choose whichever one we want is known as our “free will” given by God to us.
This is why evil sometimes happen in this world because God has given us the freedom to choose between life and death. He has also given us the freedom to choose between heaven and earth.
In the book of John 14:6, the Bible says; Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me
If you want to go to the Father in heaven, the only way you can do that is by accessing Jesus Christ. And if you want to access Jesus Christ, knowing and following his ways is fine by him.
If you do that, you will surely make heaven because that’s what God wants us to do.
