It is our manner of life, our behaviour, our character, that can win the heart of a person. Brother Eli has chosen to answer us in accordance to the words in the Bible which will also be put to use here. I wonder why some parents will not like their children no matter ehat the child may look like or even if they are disrespectful.
In the Bible, Matthew 7:9-11 says; Or what man is there for you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good things to them that ask him?
This is because God, our Father loved all of us including the evil ones. This is why it is easy for God to accept us back after being sinners for years and going back unto him to ask for forgiveness.
Also, in the book of Matthew 5:45, the Bible says; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
When the sun shines, it shines on all of us and when the rain falls, it falls on all of us and that’s how the mercy of God covers all of us including the sinners. This is how parents should love their children.
No matter how bad your child should be, you should love your child and always pray for your child to be a better person.
With the grace of God and also training your child how a good Christian should, your child will hear the word of God and do the right things that a Godly child should do.
