Giants are those who are higher in stature than we normal humans. According to the Bible, giants may be nine or twelve feets high. Imagine that your height is six feets, you can imagine doubling your height and that’s how big a giant is.
It is written in Genesis 6:4 that, There were giants in the earth of those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men, which were of old, men and renown
According to what was written here, these giants became huge and became mighty men which we can also call men of renown and that is what makes it extraordinary. It’s just like an extra human and very far from the human nature.
If we read well, this Bible verse means that there were some creatures before man. And truly, in the Bible, man was the last thing that God created so giants had even existed before we starting coming to earth.
Whether in science or in the Bible, we must never think that these giants are real humans. They are giants are they are strong.
Humans who grow very high in stature have something we call “gigantism” and it is a result to as defects in the body.
This is why there are some giants who were mentioned in Genesis 6:4.
