I frequently ponder why God was constantly impatient with Mary and Joseph.
God could have waited until their nuptials before bringing the covenant of salvation into their home.
Mary and Joseph were already courting; their nuptials were to take place in a few days, weeks, or months. Why was God so impatient that He couldn't wait for Mary to enter her husband's house before the Holy Ghost got her pregnant? Both parents were already aware of the relationship, and all the necessary steps had been taken to legalize it. I merely ponder.
Because many people in those days still did not believe the story of the Angel appearing, they all believed she got pregnant by another man and then claimed to have seen an Angel. It might have been simpler to persuade both parents that the pregnancy was by the hand of her husband. Mary might have avoided all of the in-law disputes and persuasion she had to go through. Her people had a difficult time believing the story because angelic visits were unusual at the time. All of this could have been avoided if God had been a little more patient with the couple.
But what's this? God's impatience knows no bounds when it comes to age, social position, or marital status. A READY vessel becomes the most priceless creation that God has on earth when He needs something on it.
Mary and Joseph were spiritually well-positioned for the work of salvation that God was preparing to unleash on them, but maritally they were not prepared because tradition dictates they wait a few more months for the marriage rites to be completed.
God sent His son to be raised by two people who had little to no experience as a wife and a husband, let alone a mother and a father, because He couldn't wait a few more months for their marital status to catch up to their spiritual position.
When a need must be addressed in heaven, God's impatience can result in anything like this.
To ensure that all men would think that the baby Jesus had only been brought by the hand of God, Mary and Joseph decided to leave the care of the child to a young, unmarried couple.
What if you are waiting for your marital status to change while God is eager to use you mightily in this generation? That is the question I have for you today.
What if you are too preoccupied with getting married and your past heartbreaks to focus on the task God wants you to complete with him while you are still single?
What if God is depending on you to be another Joseph or Mary? Do you wish to wear a white dress and have a wedding first, or are you a yielding vessel waiting for the command of God?
Many of you wives are waiting to become pregnant before being used. Your brief childlessness has turned into a source of diversion for you. "Lord, if you give me a kid, I will serve you." I know it's difficult, but what if God wants to use you as a conduit for miracles, signs, and wonders before actually giving birth to a child?
In whatever stage of life you may be in, are you a ready vessel?
Will you satisfy any current needs in paradise if they arise?
Will heaven be able to find your address if a vessel is needed? Will the afterlife find your house?
We should wait until you gather your own 30 bridesmaids to dance on your wedding day if God needs to use a single lady for the assignment.
Will God's impatience encounter your prepared vessel?
Consider this.

If God waited for them to marry, she would have been defiled..
No longer a virgin.. even Joseph understood the assignment by not touching her until she brought out Christ
Very true .. God's Thoughts are definitely higher than our thoughts
