It was indeed a great time in the presence of God and also a another privilege to be part of today’s teaching by brother Eli, I just say that I’m blessed both physically and spiritually.
I understand that pray is a petition from us to God, when we pray we are making a request form God so it should not be done repeatedly.
PHILIPPIANS 4:6 I learned that when we pray to God we should he already answered, we should not be doubtful of our prayers, faith and believe is what makes God answer our. When we pray and believe that God will do it, I wi surely come to pass. Here the Bible said, be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God, so as we pray let’s give thanks for the prayer answered even before we end our prayers.
GALATIANS 5:19,20 here the Bible pointed out things that the work of flesh manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, these are sin unto God we should be contented with what we have, like brother Eli explained lasciviousness as the act of admiring other women or men when we know we are already married and it is a sin before God. In verse 20 it’s also mentioned, idolatry, witchcraft, strife, sedition’s and heresies, theses are sin and abomination before God so must renounce our evil ways and turn to Christ completely.
MATHEW 12:33 here the Bible is telling us to either we make the tree good and the fruits good, or we make the tree corrupt and the fruits will be corrupt, if the tree is bad the fruits will be bad as well so we must make the tree good by watering it and how do we water it the tree so that it will bring for the good fruits, is by hearing and obeying the word of God. Here the Bible said, make the tree good and his fruits good or else make the tree corrupt and his fruits corrupt, for the treee is know by his fruits. I also learned here that we are to make the tree good so that it will bring forth good fruits.
LUKE 6:45 Here I learned that every good person brings out good thing and every bad person brings forth bad things because what is inside of a man is what he will show forth either good and bad, here the Bible said, a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good and evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil, for the abundant of heart his mouth speaketh. That is to say people give what they have inside them, let us lay good example and make sure what we speak is from the heart not lips.
JAMES 5:12 here the Bible is warning us not to swear so we must avoid such. Swearing is a sin and abomination before God. The Bible said, Above all things my brethren swear not, neither by the heavens neither by the earth neither by any other oath, but let your yea be yea and no be no, lest ye fall into condemnation, we should not swear because swearing is a sin rather we should stand by the truth and let our yes be our yes and let our no be our no because that is the commandment of God.
EPHESIANS 4:31 I learnedthat we must put away bitterness, and wrath and anger and clamor and evil speaking, God said let all these be put away and malice, things like this should not be found among the children of God, we should learn to forgive one another because we are one body in Christ Jesus, all these that are mentioned here God does not like them so we must put them away and let the spirit of God take control of life.
JOHN 15:3 I learned that if we allow the word of God to enter into us there will be changes, here the Bible said, Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoke unto you, it is only the word of God that can make us clean if we let the word of God enter into our hearts and dwell daily. God wi help us to understand and obey his word Amen.
