Anytime we have opportunity to do good, we should not withhold it.
Proverbs 3:27
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Whatever we do God is going to reward us. Each of our contribution to the gospel will be rewarded.
Revelation 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
We have to help each other as brethren in order to fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
If we can not fulfill the law if we do not know it.
Romans 3:19
Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
God instruct us to keep His law in our heart
Hebrews 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
The better way to help each other is to keep the law of God in our heart.
The more reason we need to remind ourselves is because human are always forgetful.
James 3:13
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
We are also told to let the world of Christ dwell richly in us.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
In all we do, we should see ourselves that we can improve in what we are doing. Not of envy or jealous but in lowliness of mind that others are better than us. We can do better in love and law of God. Seeing others that are better than us should provoke us to do more good than before.
Philippians 2:3
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
