In the Bible, we were Meant to understand that prayer alone is not enough.
Also , in the Bible , were meant to understand that having faith alone is not enough because element of action is needed because without these Actions, your faith is dead.
- Matthew 7:7
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."
In this part of the Bible , our Lord Jesus Christ explained to his followers that although it is good to be persistent in our prayers, God will only respond not just by praying but by seeking and Bringing forth actions.
Even our Lord Jesus Christ knew the importance of actions, which was why he didn't just say down and prayed when people were conducting business in his father's temple, he took action immediately and scattered and chased them out of his father's temple.
We were given a mind to think, this is because God wants us to work. He is not a lazy God so this means that his children will not have to be lazy. He does not want us to always depend on other people for our daily bread, we should be able to find the daily breads ourselves. Our Lord told us that he will bless the work of our hands, this means that we will first of all have something doing through which God in heaven will bless us.
