We all know how important forgiveness is as followers of Jesus Christ. We know that our Lord Jesus told us that if we don't forgive those who offend us, our heavenly Father will not offend us. We know that unforgiveness is a sin. We know how vital it is that we forgive one another.
When we forgive others, we allow the love of Christ to flow through our hearts. We make the weight of bitterness to leave us when we forgive others. We too are healed in the inside when we forgive others. Forgiveness builds the cord of brotherhood stronger.
The world is full of several offenses. We get offended by the way people treat us. We pick offense if we are cheated or spoken badly about. There are many cases where offenses come to us. There is no way we can live in this world without experiencing offenses.
Let us learn to forgive. Let us forgive those who are irrespective of the offenses they pour on us. When we forgive we should also try to forget. When we should not always call to remembrance whatever offense people have done to us.
