Baptism is a doctrine in the church. It is one of the doctrines of Jesus Christ which he taught the church. The Lord Jesus Christ commanded that everyone who believes in him and accepts his doctrines should be baptized. So, baptism is a necessity in the church.
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Every member of the church must be baptized. All of us who accept the doctrine and agree to follow Jesus Christ must receive baptism. That is the commandment of the Lord. The apostles practiced the same doctrine. They were baptized. Apostle Paul was baptized. The christians in the early church were baptized. So, we should also accept baptism.
