I love the way Bro Eli Soriano answered this question. The question asks why do we sometimes feel as if God is far from us? Bro Eli said that it is not that God is far from us, it is that we have taken a route that makes us very very far from God.
The question that we should answer for ourselves is what road are we taking? Are we taking a road that makes us very far away from God? Where are we? When God came to the garden after Adam had eaten the forbidden fruit, He asked them “Where are you?” It wasn't God who was far, it was Adam who had taken a direction that separated him from God.
When we decide to ignore the commandments of God, then we are on a route which is far away from God. When we choose to disobey God's Word, we are heading in the direction which is going to separate us from God. Let us come back to God because He is always available.
