We usually want to respond boldly, what are the steps needed to respond this way?
Joshua rose early in the morning, and he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they stayed there before they crossed over. 2 After three days the officers went through the camp, 3 and commanded the people, saying, When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the Levitical priests carrying it, you shall set out from your place and go after it, 4 so that you may know the way by which you must go; for you have not passed by this way before now. But between you and it there is about two thousand cubits; you shall not come near it. 5 Then Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you. 6 Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and pass over before the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went over before the people. 7 Then the LORD said to Joshua, “From this day on I will begin to magnify you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. 8 “Therefore you shall command the priests who carry the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stop at the Jordan. ’” 9 Then Joshua said to the Israelites, “Come near and hear the words of the LORD your God.” 10 Then Joshua said, “By this you will know that the living God is among you, and that he will drive out before you the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite and the Jebusite.” 11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will pass before you into the midst of the Jordan. 12 Now therefore take twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe. 13 And when the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be divided; 14 When the people set out from their tents to cross the Jordan, with the priests carrying the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 when those who carried the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who carried the ark were dipped at the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks at all harvest time), 16 the waters that came down from above stood as if on a heap far from the city of Adam, which is beside Zaretan, and the waters that went down to the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were exhausted and were divided; and the people crossed over to Jericho. 17 But the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry land in the middle of the Jordan until all the people had crossed over the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry land.

On many occasions we see throughout the Bible different leaders performing wonders and what would we respond to the Lord if he asks us to assume a leadership role as he asked Joshua? The Lord wants us to respond bravely in those occasions when he asks us to face challenges that go beyond our knowledge and ability, or we simply do not know, now the question is how can we do it?
To know God and know what he wants from us as well as all the privileges and benefits we have for being his children we find them in the Bible, in his word, and we must search for him as if we were searching for a treasure, his Holy Spirit helps us and guides us, it also gives us the ability to apply what we have learned in each situation.
This word on which we meditate every day shapes our life, our thoughts and actions, as soon as we apply the word of God to our lives, this word is reflected in our thoughts and actions.
I have hidden your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
Psalm 119:11
Let us trust in the word of God. How? As we discover more in His word, we trust more. Joshua acted as God told him, he led the people of Israel to the Jordan River because he placed his full trust in God. Let us never forget and always keep in mind past victories, in this way we will have courage to face present challenges.
As we put these points into practice, we focus more on future victory than on past failures or fears that may arise. Let us place our trust in God, it only depends on us, we can decide to trust in God or not.

Josué se levantó de mañana, y él y todos los hijos de Israel partieron de Sitim y vinieron hasta el Jordán, y reposaron allí antes de pasarlo. 2 Y después de tres días, los oficiales recorrieron el campamento, 3 y mandaron al pueblo, diciendo: Cuando veáis el arca del pacto de Jehová vuestro Dios, y los levitas sacerdotes que la llevan, vosotros saldréis de vuestro lugar y marcharéis en pos de ella, 4 a fin de que sepáis el camino por donde habéis de ir; por cuanto vosotros no habéis pasado antes de ahora por este camino. Pero entre vosotros y ella haya distancia como de dos mil codos; no os acercaréis a ella. 5 Y Josué dijo al pueblo: Santificaos, porque Jehová hará mañana maravillas entre vosotros. 6 Y habló Josué a los sacerdotes, diciendo: Tomad el arca del pacto, y pasad delante del pueblo. Y ellos tomaron el arca del pacto y fueron delante del pueblo.7 Entonces Jehová dijo a Josué: Desde este día comenzaré a engrandecerte delante de los ojos de todo Israel, para que entiendan que como estuve con Moisés, así estaré contigo. 8 Tú, pues, mandarás a los sacerdotes que llevan el arca del pacto, diciendo: Cuando hayáis entrado hasta el borde del agua del Jordán, pararéis en el Jordán. 9 Y Josué dijo a los hijos de Israel: Acercaos, y escuchad las palabras de Jehová vuestro Dios. 10 Y añadió Josué: En esto conoceréis que el Dios viviente está en medio de vosotros, y que él echará de delante de vosotros al cananeo, al heteo, al heveo, al ferezeo, al gergeseo, al amorreo y al jebuseo. 11 He aquí, el arca del pacto del Señor de toda la tierra pasará delante de vosotros en medio del Jordán. 12 Tomad, pues, ahora doce hombres de las tribus de Israel, uno de cada tribu. 13 Y cuando las plantas de los pies de los sacerdotes que llevan el arca de Jehová, Señor de toda la tierra, se asienten en las aguas del Jordán, las aguas del Jordán se dividirán; porque las aguas que vienen de arriba se detendrán en un montón.14 Y aconteció cuando partió el pueblo de sus tiendas para pasar el Jordán, con los sacerdotes delante del pueblo llevando el arca del pacto, 15 cuando los que llevaban el arca entraron en el Jordán, y los pies de los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca fueron mojados a la orilla del agua (porque el Jordán suele desbordarse por todas sus orillas todo el tiempo de la siega), 16 las aguas que venían de arriba se detuvieron como en un montón bien lejos de la ciudad de Adam, que está al lado de Saretán, y las que descendían al mar del Arabá, al Mar Salado, se acabaron, y fueron divididas; y el pueblo pasó en dirección de Jericó. 17 Mas los sacerdotes que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, estuvieron en seco, firmes en medio del Jordán, hasta que todo el pueblo hubo acabado de pasar el Jordán; y todo Israel pasó en seco.

En muchas ocasiones vemos a lo largo de la biblia diferentes líderes realizando maravillas y ¿Qué responderíamos al Señor si nos pide asumir un rol de liderazgo así como le pidió a Josué?, el Señor desea que respondamos de manera valiente en esas ocasiones que nos pide enfrentar desafíos que van mas allá de nuestro conocimiento y capacidad, o simplemente desconocemos, ahora la pregunta es ¿Cómo lo podemos hacer?.
Para conocer a Dios y conocer lo que desea de nosotros como también todos los privilegios y beneficios que tenemos por ser sus hijos los encontramos en la biblia, en su palabra, y debemos buscarlo comos si buscásemos un tesoro, su espíritu Santo nos ayuda y nos guía, también nos da la capacidad de aplicar lo aprendido en cada situación.
Esta palabra en la cual meditamos cada día moldea nuestra vida, nuestro pensamiento y acciones, en cuanto aplicamos la palabra de Dios a nuestras vidas, esta palabra se refleja en nuestros pensamientos y acciones.
En mi corazón he guardado tus dichos,
Para no pecar contra ti.
Salmos 119:11
Confiemos en la palabra de Dios ¿Cómo? a medida que descubrimos mas en su palabra, mas confiamos. Josué accionó como Dios le indicó, condujo al pueblo de Israel hacia el rio Jordan porque depositó la confianza plena en Dios. Nunca olvidemos y traigamos siempre en mente las victorias pasadas, de esta manera tendremos valentía para enfrentar los desafíos presentes.
A medida que ponemos en prácticas estos puntos nos enfocamos mas en la victoria futura que en los fracasos anteriores o en los temores que se puedan presentar. depositemos nuestra confianza en Dios, solo depende de nosotros, podemos decidir confiar en Dios o no.
