We are used to talking about the "Love of Christ", but have we really considered the suffering on the cross for our sins?
17 Therefore the Father loves me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
John 10:17
If we reflect on the sacrifice of the cross as it has been agreed upon in the following generations, it has been one of the most painful and amazing methods in history carried out by human beings. Death on the cross was not only hanging the person on the cross, this suffering began long before when the soldiers scourged the criminal by whipping them on their backs with leather cords and at the tip with a piece of bone or metal that tore the flesh of the prisoners. Once on the cross the soldiers would load the hands or wrists and the prisoner onto the wood on the cross and then another nail would be driven into the ankles, while the person was hanging he had to push himself up on his ankles to be able to breathe and so on until his death occurred.
About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Jesus Christ was 100% human but he was also 100% God, in the scene of the crucifixion he experienced all the brutality and physical agony that a human being could experience, in turn he also experienced great spiritual and emotional anguish.
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
But when Jesus Christ took our sins upon himself taking the place of the Savior of the world, God saw him made sin for us and turned his gaze away from his son leaving him alone in his suffering, but Jesus Christ did not see himself as a victim since as a savior he offered himself on our behalf and he did this with great joy and thus demonstrating that there is no greater love than that expressed there on the cross. Now let us just stop and think and reflect on that act of love on the cross and everything he endured for love of us, it shows us that he has a limitless love for us, he considers us worthy of the love of Jesus Christ for having saved us!

Ya se nos hace costumbre hablar del "Amor de Cristo", pero realmente ¿Hemos considerado el sufrimiento en la cruz por nuestros pecados?.

Si nos ponemos a reflexionar acerca del sacrificio de la cruz como este hay pactado en las siguientes generaciones, ha sido uno de los métodos más dolorosos y asombrosos de la historia llevado a cabo por el ser humano. La muerte de cruz no era solamente colgar a la persona en la cruz, este sufrimiento iniciaba mucho antes cuando los soldados flagelaban al criminal azotándolos por sus espaldas con cuerdas de cuero y en la punta con un pedazo de hueso o metal que desgarrabas las carnes de los reos. Una vez en la cruz los soldados cargaban las manos o las muñecas y el reo en la madera en la cruz y luego otro clavo se clavó en los tobillos, mientras la persona estaba colgada tenía que hacer fuerza impulsándose sobre sus tobillos para poder respirar y así hasta que diera lugar su muerte.
Cerca de la hora novena, Jesús clamó a gran voz, diciendo: Elí, Elí, ¿lama sabactani? Esto es: Dios mío, Dios mío, ¿por qué me has desamparado?

Pero cuando Jesucristo tomó nuestros pecados sobre si tomando el lugar del Salvador del mundo, Dios lo vio hecho pecado por nosotros y voltio su mirada se apartó de su hijo dejándolo solo en su sufrimiento, pero Jesucristo no se veía como una víctima ya que como un salvador él se ofreció a nuestro favor y esto lo hizo con sumo gozo y así demostrando que no existe otro amor más grande que el de el expresado allí en la cruz.Ahora solamente detengámonos a pensar y a reflexionar acerca de ese acto de amor así en la cruz y de todo lo que soporto por amor a nosotros, nos muestra que por nosotros tiene un amor sin límites, considera dignos del amor de Jesucristo por habernos salvado!

That's the question we all need to ask ourselves! Do we really deserved the pain and agony our Lord Jesus Christ went through for us on the cross because of His limitless love for us? We have to reciprocate that love for founding us worthy and not giving up on us.

@annievictory We are undeserving of that love, but we must only accept His grace and love, through that sacrifice "For us" we are reciprocated "We are accepted in the beloved", let us surrender ourselves to His grace and enjoy it.
