El pacto del Señor para siempre! || The covenant of the Lord is forever!

The Lord's Supper is not simply a picture of a situation that occurred before the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; it goes far beyond that. The Lord established this supper so that we would forever remember what he has won for us.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave it to his disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is my body." 27 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 And I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."

Matthew 26:26-30

Let us remember that this last supper Jesus led his disciples over took place at Passover. Jesus took the bread, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body." When he served it and offered the wine, he said, "This is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many." I close the quotation marks. All of this leads us to the conclusion that celebrating the Lord's Supper is a symbol of that covenant made with those who believe in the Lord.

What does this supper also represent for all of us who believe? It represents a cleansing, and we can see this from the beginning with Adam and Eve. God required the first sacrifice to cover the transgressions of both. Let's remember that he clothed them in animal skins. But this was simply a temporary solution, a picture of what would later come through Jesus Christ, since he has been the permanent answer to the problem of sin. Let's remember that Jesus Christ took and carried upon himself sin, past, present, and future.

This supper is also a symbol of trust and consecration, because when we trust in Jesus Christ, when we place our lives in his hands, when we accept that sacrifice, we open ourselves to him. Our sins are not only forgiven, but we are justified and receive eternal life. The Holy Spirit begins to dwell within us. This bread and this cup that Jesus Christ speaks of are symbols that remind us of everything God expects of us, and thus we renew our commitment to God.

And we cannot set aside communion. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the transgression that was upon us was removed. Jesus Christ bore upon Himself the full weight of humanity's sin, saved us, and today we are part of God's family. We are His children, and we can find in Him rest, comfort, and strength, among many other virtues. This Lord's Supper is a reminder and a great moment to bring into the present all that Jesus Christ has given us and thus participate with gratitude.

La cena del señor no es simplemente un cuadro de una situación que aconteció previo a la muerte del señor Jesucristo, va mucho más allá de eso, el señor constituyó esa cena para que recordásemos para siempre lo que él ha ganado para nosotros.

26 Y mientras comían, tomó Jesús el pan, y bendijo, y lo partió, y dio a sus discípulos, y dijo: Tomad, comed; esto es mi cuerpo. 27 Y tomando la copa, y habiendo dado gracias, les dio, diciendo: Bebed de ella todos; 28 porque esto es mi sangre del nuevo pacto, que por muchos es derramada para remisión de los pecados. 29 Y os digo que desde ahora no beberé más de este fruto de la vid, hasta aquel día en que lo beba nuevo con vosotros en el reino de mi Padre.

Recordemos que esta última cena de Jesús conduce sus discípulos tuvo lugar en la Pascua. Jesús tomó el pan y el partirla y darles les dijo "Este es mi cuerpo". Cuándo les sirvió y les ofreció el vino dijo: " este mi sangre del nuevo pacto que por muchos es derramada cierro comillas todo esto nos lleva a que el celebrar la cena del señor es todo una simbología de ese pacto hecho con aquellos quienes creen en el señor.

¿Qué representa también esta cena para todos aquellos que creemos? Representa una limpieza y esto lo podemos ver desde el inicio con Adán y Eva, Dios requirió del primer sacrificio para cubrir las transgresiones de ambos, recordemos que los vistió con pieles de animales. Pero esto era simplemente una solución temporal, una figura de lo que vendría posteriormente a través de Jesucristo ya que él ha sido la respuesta permanente ante el problema del pecado, recordemos que Jesucristo tomó, llevó sobre si el pecado pasado presente y futuro.

Esta cena también es símbolo de confianza y consagración ya que cuando confiamos en Jesucristo, cuando disponemos nuestras vidas en sus manos, cuando aceptamos ese sacrificio nos disponemos para él. Nuestros pecados no solamente son perdonados sino que somos justificados y recibimos vida eterna, el espíritu Santo inicia su morada en nosotros, este pan y esta copa de las que habla Jesucristo son símbolos que nos recuerdan todo aquello en lo que Dios espera de nosotros y así renovar nuestro compromiso para con Dios.

Y no podemos dejar de lado la comunión, a través del sacrificio de Jesucristo fue quitada la transgresión que había sobre nosotros, Jesucristo llevó sobre si todo el peso del pecado de la humanidad, nos salvó y hoy somos parte de la familia de Dios, somos sus hijos y podemos hallar en el reposo, consuelo Y fortaleza entre muchas otras virtudes. Esta cena del señor es un recordatorio y un gran momento para traer al presente todo lo que Jesucristo nos ha dado y así participar con gratitud.
