Las tormentas son fuertes! || The storms are strong!

It is important to learn to trust. How do we react when we are facing problems?

Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds. 23 When he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on a mountainside apart to pray. When evening came, he was there alone. 24 Now the boat was in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary. 25 But in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. 26 When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It's a ghost!" And they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take heart! It is I; do not be afraid!"
28 Then Peter answered him, and said, "Lord, if it is you, command that I come to you on the water." 29 And he said, "Come." Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31 Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him by the boat. "Why did you doubt?" said he, "O you of little faith?" 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind calmed. 33 Then those in the boat came and worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."

Matthew 14:22-33

The storms we face are truly inevitable. For example, the storms that occur in nature are often unpredictable and change the landscape. The circumstances in our lives are similar; they generate different challenges that can transform our lives at every turn.

Our reaction to difficulties is important. On many occasions, we pray to God and say: I'm doing everything you asked of me, my behavior is the best it can be, why is this happening that complicates my life? This assumes that we are fully in God's will, and when this is the case, we believe that problems don't exist. However, we see that Jesus told the disciples to get on the boat and they sailed to the other side. Here the disciples were obeying everything Jesus had told them, and while they were sailing, great and strong winds arose. Here we learn that storms can also arise just when we are in obedience, when we are exactly where God wants us to be.

33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

Sometimes we also ask ourselves the following question: Lord, what did I do wrong? Let us always remember that God also uses trials to improve us, to correct us if we are straying from something. We must know that not all situations are due to our mistakes, actions, or attitudes. God himself may allow some kind of trial to perfect us, to polish us, and to bring out the best in us, in some way: to make us like his Son.

God uses all forms to develop and equip us to face life's challenges because he desires each of us to be transformed into strong and loyal servants of Jesus.

Es importante aprender a confiar, ¿Cómo reaccionamos cuando estamos enfrentando los problemas?

En seguida Jesús hizo a sus discípulos entrar en la barca e ir delante de él a la otra ribera, entre tanto que él despedía a la multitud. 23 Despedida la multitud, subió al monte a orar aparte; y cuando llegó la noche, estaba allí solo. 24 Y ya la barca estaba en medio del mar, azotada por las olas; porque el viento era contrario. 25 Mas a la cuarta vigilia de la noche, Jesús vino a ellos andando sobre el mar. 26 Y los discípulos, viéndole andar sobre el mar, se turbaron, diciendo: ¡Un fantasma! Y dieron voces de miedo. 27 Pero en seguida Jesús les habló, diciendo: ¡Tened ánimo; yo soy, no temáis!
28 Entonces le respondió Pedro, y dijo: Señor, si eres tú, manda que yo vaya a ti sobre las aguas. 29 Y él dijo: Ven. Y descendiendo Pedro de la barca, andaba sobre las aguas para ir a Jesús. 30 Pero al ver el fuerte viento, tuvo miedo; y comenzando a hundirse, dio voces, diciendo: ¡Señor, sálvame! 31 Al momento Jesús, extendiendo la mano, asió de él, y le dijo: ¡Hombre de poca fe! ¿Por qué dudaste? 32 Y cuando ellos subieron en la barca, se calmó el viento. 33 Entonces los que estaban en la barca vinieron y le adoraron, diciendo: Verdaderamente eres Hijo de Dios.

Mateo 14:22-33

Las tormentas que enfrentamos son realmente inevitables, por ejemplo: las tempestades que se presentan en la naturaleza muchas son impredecibles y van cambiando el paisaje capaz, de la misma manera son las circunstancias en nuestras vidas, generan diferentes desafíos que pueden transformar a cada paso nuestras vidas.

Es importante la reacción que tenemos ante las dificultades, en muchas ocasiones oramos a Dios y le decimos: estoy haciendo todo lo que me pediste, mi comportamiento es el mejor, ¿por qué sucede esto que me complica la vida?, esto supone que estamos plenamente en la voluntad de Dios y cuándo es así creemos que no existen los problemas, pero vemos que Jesús les dijo a los discípulos que subieran al barco y que navegaron hasta el otro lado, aquí los discípulos estaban obedeciendo a todo lo que Jesús le habían dicho y mientras ellos navegaban se levantaron o las grandes y fuertes vientos, aquí aprendemos que las tormentas también se puede levantar justo cuando estamos en obediencia, cuando estamos justo donde Dios quiere que estemos.

33 Estas cosas os he hablado para que en mí tengáis paz. En el mundo tendréis aflicción; pero confiad, yo he vencido al mundo.

Juan 16:33

En algunas ocasiones también nos hacemos la siguiente pregunta: señor ¿qué es lo que hice mal? Recordemos siempre que Dios también utiliza las pruebas para mejorar nuestra persona, para corregirnos y es que nos estamos desviando de algo, debemos saber que no todas las situaciones son por nuestro error o por nuestro accionar o actitud. Dios mismo puede permitir algún tipo de prueba para perfeccionarnos, para pulirnos y sacar lo mejor de nosotros, de alguna manera: hacernos a la semejanza de su hijo.

Dios utiliza todas las formas para desarrollarnos y equiparnos frente a los desafíos de la vida porque desea que cada uno de nosotros seamos convertidos en siervos fuertes y leales a Jesús.

I once asked GOD this question, Lord what did I do wrong? Why you let this happens to me? I was kneeling down and i was crying with a heavy heart. This happened after my doctor give me my diagnosed of Cancer. I feel heaven and earth collapsed. My daughters are still young and I don't know where to get money for my surgery. after hours of crying i got tired and told God that i would trust his divine providence and i hold on to his great Love for ME. I got my surgery,my radiation and all my medical procedures on time. God really provided all my needs. ONE thing I have learned on my lowest time in life that God would not forsake us nor abandoned us. I AM a cancer SURVIVOR NOW. God teaches me the to fully trust on him, That people would leave you,reject you and abandoned you. ONLY god would never let go your hands. no matter how difficult or hard your sufferings, GOD'S love is bigger than any problems, deeper than the ocean and higher than any mountain. MY sickness had change me to be a better version of myself as a daughter of GOD. HE CHANGE MY heart and my attitude too. TO god BE THE gLORY.
