When we come before God and pour ourselves out before him, we recognize that he is powerful to restore us completely, to transform our lives to a better state.
3 And they said to me: The remnant, those who remain from the captivity, there in the province, are in great evil and disgrace, and the wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.
4 When I heard these words I sat down and wept, and mourned for some days, and I fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. 5 And I said, I pray to you, O Lord, God of heaven, strong, great, and fearsome, who keeps the covenant and mercy to those who love him and keep his commandments; 6 Now let your ears be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer of your servant, which I now pray before you day and night, for the children of Israel your servants; and I confess the sins of the children of Israel that we have committed against you; yes, I and my father's house have sinned. 7 We have become extremely corrupt against you, and have not kept the commandments, statutes, and precepts that you gave to Moses your servant. 8 Remember now the word that you spoke to Moses your servant, saying: If you sin, I will scatter you among the peoples; 9 But if you return to me, and keep my commandments, and do them, although your dispersion be to the ends of the heavens, I will gather you from there, and bring you to the place which I have chosen to make my name dwell there. 10 So they are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great power and by your mighty hand. 11 I pray you, O Lord, let your ear now be attentive to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants, who desire to revere your name; Grant now good success to your servant, and give him favor before that man. Because I served as the king's cupbearer.
Nehemiah 1:3-11
Let's consider this passage about Nehemiah and ask ourselves the following question: Can worship also be that act of mourning? Let us remember that Nehemiah had served as cupbearer to the King in Babylon, when he learned that the walls of Jerusalem had been destroyed he sat down to cry for several days, in this way the people had been left defenseless.
This act had not only been the maximum expression of great sadness, his crying and tears were accompanied with prayer and fasting, this has also been a situation of vulnerability that brought Nehemiah much closer to God.
For Nehemiah at that moment there was nothing more terrible than that situation, that situation of crying and pouring himself out before God for that loss has been in some way a means that brought him closer to God through prayer. All this was nothing more than the expression that he had his faith that God was the only way out, the only hope for Jerusalem to be restored and put on its feet. Nehemiah through his tears and prayer reminded God of his promise "Remember now the word that you gave to Moses your servant, saying: If you sin, I will scatter you among the peoples; 9 but if you return to me and keep my commandments , and you put them into practice, although your dispersion be to the end of the heavens, from there I will gather you, and I will bring you to the place that I chose to make my name dwell there."
Generally we interpret a situation similar to this as a picture of lack of Faith, when someone cries and pours themselves out before God we believe that they have a lack of faith, in this case Nehemiah shows us that this situation could be totally different, A painful situation can bring us to the feet of God in faith and worship. In situations of suffering and pain, God invites us to cling to him and fully trust in his love, we can offer our tears as devotion and adoration before God since there is no more.

Cuando venimos delante de Dios y nos derramamos delante de él, reconocemos que es poderoso para restaurarnos completamente, de transformar nuestra vida a un estado mejor.
3 Y me dijeron: El remanente, los que quedaron de la cautividad, allí en la provincia, están en gran mal y afrenta, y el muro de Jerusalén derribado, y sus puertas quemadas a fuego.
4 Cuando oí estas palabras me senté y lloré, e hice duelo por algunos días, y ayuné y oré delante del Dios de los cielos. 5 Y dije: Te ruego, oh Jehová, Dios de los cielos, fuerte, grande y temible, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia a los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos; 6 esté ahora atento tu oído y abiertos tus ojos para oír la oración de tu siervo, que hago ahora delante de ti día y noche, por los hijos de Israel tus siervos; y confieso los pecados de los hijos de Israel que hemos cometido contra ti; sí, yo y la casa de mi padre hemos pecado. 7 En extremo nos hemos corrompido contra ti, y no hemos guardado los mandamientos, estatutos y preceptos que diste a Moisés tu siervo. 8 Acuérdate ahora de la palabra que diste a Moisés tu siervo, diciendo: Si vosotros pecareis, yo os dispersaré por los pueblos; 9 pero si os volviereis a mí, y guardareis mis mandamientos, y los pusiereis por obra, aunque vuestra dispersión fuere hasta el extremo de los cielos, de allí os recogeré, y os traeré al lugar que escogí para hacer habitar allí mi nombre. 10 Ellos, pues, son tus siervos y tu pueblo, los cuales redimiste con tu gran poder, y con tu mano poderosa. 11 Te ruego, oh Jehová, esté ahora atento tu oído a la oración de tu siervo, y a la oración de tus siervos, quienes desean reverenciar tu nombre; concede ahora buen éxito a tu siervo, y dale gracia delante de aquel varón. Porque yo servía de copero al rey.
Nehemías 1:3-11
Consideremos este pasaje acerca de Nehemías y hagámonos la siguiente pregunta ¿La adoración puede ser también ese acto de duelo?. Recordemos que Nehemías había servido como copero del Rey en Babilonia, cuando este supo que los muros de Jerusalén habían sido destruidos se sentó a llorar durante varios días, de esta manera el pueblo hadía quedado indefenso.
Este acto no solo había sido la máxima expresión de mucha tristeza, su lloro y lágrimas fueron acompañadas con oración y ayuno, esta también ha sido una situación de vulnerabilidad que a Nehemías lo acercó mucho mas a Dios.
Para Nehemías en ese momento no había algo mas terrible que esa situación, esa situación de llorar y derramarse delante de Dios por esa pérdida ha sido de alguna manera un medio que lo acercó mas a Dios mediante la oración. Todo esto no era mas que la expresión de que tenía su fe puesta en que Dios era la única salida, la única esperanza para que Jerusalén sea restaurada y puesta de pie. Nehemías entre sus lágrimas y oración le recordó a Dios su promesa "Acuérdate ahora de la palabra que diste a Moisés tu siervo, diciendo: Si vosotros pecareis, yo os dispersaré por los pueblos; 9 pero si os volviereis a mí, y guardareis mis mandamientos, y los pusiereis por obra, aunque vuestra dispersión fuere hasta el extremo de los cielos, de allí os recogeré, y os traeré al lugar que escogí para hacer habitar allí mi nombre".
Generalmente interpretamos una situación semejante a esta como un cuadro de falta de Fe, cuando alguien llora y se derrama delante de Dios creemos que tiene falta de fe, en este caso Nehemías nos muestra que esta situación pude ser totalmente diferente, una situación dolorosa puede llevarnos a los pies de Dios en fe y adoración. En las situaciones de sufrimiento y dolor Dios nos invita a aferrarnos a él y confiar plenamente en su amor, podemos ofrecer nuestras lágrimas como devoción y adoración delante de Dios ya que no hay mas.

There are some pains we felt due to situation happening around us that we just lost what to say to him when we open our mouth what comes out is tears. If we are comfortable crying in front of our earthly father we should also be comfortable crying in front of our heavenly Father he knows everything happening around us so he will listen to us and wipe our tears.
@adedoyin01 Amen! The idea is that we pour ourselves out if necessary before God since he has the power and ability to give us comfort and help. Although he knows everything that happens to us, in the midst of pain when we turn to him it is because we are recognizing that he can heal us.
