Today been 7th April 2021 my contribution to the above topic do children have to always obey their parent? My answer is YES because our God commands it
Ephesians 6:1-8 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
The above scriture tells us that it is right to obey our parent in the Lord and to honor them. It is the only commandment with promise.
It is a most for children to obey their parent if the instructions are Godly , but if it is not Godly the children should not obey for example if a parent ask their children to do an evil thing the children should not obey especially a born again Child.
Maybe a parent ask a child to do an abominable thing or to worship idol the child must not obey because God commanded us not to bow down or worship other god.
Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
