The peace of the Lord be with all of us Amen. The begining of this year, we have been discussing Jesus as the son of God and Jesus as God who is and was from creation and will forever be till thy kingdom come.
In yesterdays teaches, we learnt how many people through various concepts tries to bring dent on the nature of Christ. The argument of people is that, the son of God is not God himself. Because an apprentice can never be the same as the boss but the bible disproves that. The bible says that, in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. If Jesus is the word spoken through prophets, then there's no doubt in our minds that Jesus Christ is indeed God who has been there even before creation. He came into the world because of our salvation.
There has been many wrong translations in the bible, this is done by people who changed some verses to persuade their own agenda. The bible is the truth if you really understand the words in them.
Proverbs 8:8 says that all the words of my mouth is righteous. Indeed anything God says is righteous and is the truth. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
The bible was written by men so people tries to criticise it but they tend to forget that, the words in it was inspired by the works of the Holy Spirit . This was so because men are the people going to benefit from the word. The book of Revelation talks about the instructions given to John to write exactly what he has seen. So we should be the bible rather than theories of men.
ISAIAH 46:9 retreats the nature of God. It teaches us to be conscious of ourself that we should remember the past, for God is God and there is no one Him
ISAIAH through the Holy Spirit declares the glory of God end from the begining and from ancient time the things that are not yet done saying, God's counsel will stand. Meaning it is only the words from God that will stand.
And if the creator himself upholds his son as God, who are we to declare him not. Through the teaches, I am consciously understanding the word of God from a different point of view. I have been a catholic all my life but I believe God is not going to judge us according to the church you attend but your understanding of his word.
