Why is there so much evil in this world? (My review)
Is it God's will for His people to be under subjection to evil? Certainly not. Christ overcame the world for our sakes. No matter the form of the that the Devil presents before us, we can surely overcome it. We have the power to produce light into any situation.
Matthew 5:13-14 (KJV) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
The world is under the influence of evil. The Bible made us know in 1 John 5:19 that the world is filled with wickedness. The reason why we seek that God opens the eyes of our understanding so that it may be enlightened is because the Devil which is also known as the prince of the world has blinded the world so that they may not see the light in God's word.
The light in God's word brings about illumination, and the devil keeps fighting tooth and nail to prevent this from occuring in our lives.
