One of the things the bible helps gain knowledge of is what the future holds. The scriptures make us to be prophets by nature. When walking with God, certain things are being revealed to you before they finally happen. Just like in the case of Jesus. The coming of Jesus was revealed to certain men in the bible before he was even born.
Isaiah foresaw the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ before he came. John the Baptist also saw the coming of Christ and went into the wilderness announcing Christ's s coming even before He arrived. God doesn't leave His people in the dark. For everything He does He makes it know to His people, either through a prophet or the people individually.
It is very possible to know what's most likely to happen according to God's will. Most of the things happening now we're things been spoken of by certain people that God had revealed it to. The things that are also likely to happen to the future have also been by some other people.
Proverbs 16:9 - A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Having knowledge of this will let you know how to prepare for things before they come and how we go about them. That's why it is of great importance to study God's word so you can get yourself exposed to the things that are most likely to take place around us. Humans may give predictions.
Sometimes they come to pass while sometimes they don't. But when it comes to God, everything He says will undoubtedly come to pass. A lot of things can be avoided if only we aware of the fact of the possibility of them coming to pass.
This is such an important message. God never leaves us clueless about the future He reveals things through His word and His people. Unlike human predictions, God’s promises always come true. Studying the Bible helps us stay prepared and guided in life. A really thoughtful and inspiring post!
