It's another day of the Mass indoctrination series with brother Eli and brother Daniel. I am really glad to have been present in today's edition. Everyday comes with a bigger blessing than the previous one. We continue with the fundamentals that are associated with prayers.
If we can hearken unto God's word and give strict adherence to his commandments, their a countless benefits we are assured of receiving whenever we pray to Him. Prayers does a lot for us as Believers. If only everyone knew how much of a great effect prayers do, everyone would take prayers seriously.
James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
As Christians, we need to see ourselves as a body. Every component of the body works hand in hand, all for the betterment of the body. One thing been noticed about the body when carefully observed is the cooperation between the members. If a component is weak or lacking in one aspect, it is likely to affect the rest of the body. Therefore, all the members need to walk in unity.
One of the things God wants from us as Believers is cooperation. There should be togetherness among us. We should bear up each other burdens as if it were ours. This is because if left unattended to, it could affect us too one way or the other. When a fellow is walking in the wrong path we should not shun them off.
We are not perfect either. There are sins we commit that we are even unaware that they are sins. Sins may not only be in actions but in thoughts also.
Proverbs 24:9 - The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
We should be able to give them a listening ear to confide in us and admits their faults. When the body of Christ is in unison and they offer up effective prayers to God, the prayers can go a long length for them. Some other powerful scriptures been talked about in this teaching are;
1 Peter 4:8,
Proverbs 28:13,
Luke 4:25–27,
1 Timothy 3:15,
Acts 17:24
Psalms 32:5.
