It is another wonderful time in today's mass indoctrination anchored by our beloved brother Eli. The true doctrines of Christ makes for an effective life of a believer while living on earth. However, some people do not adhere to them and this displeases God. While some are deceived into believing doctrines which are false. One of the doctrines of Christ is love.

Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 - This is the first and great commandment.
39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

God is expected to be at the center of our hearts. We are to love God because He loves us as well, more than we can ever think of. The love that God has for us cannot be measured with anyone else. The love that made Him send His son to die for people that hadn't even known Him yet.

If we are able to love God then we are able to love people around us; which leads us to the second category of love–the love for people around us. God asked us to love our neighbors. Our neighbors are people around us, not just people that live nearby our houses. It could also be extended to our fellow brethrens in the church.

Christianity began with love because it was the love that God had for mankind that made Him send His son for our sakes. Therefore, we ought also to be like the father and walk in love.

Other passages discussed in today's teaching are:

Malachi 4:2, Matthew 7:12, Ephesians 4:32, I Corinthians 6:4-6, Philippians 1:27, Galatians 6;10, James 2:15-16, 1 John 3:18

Sort:

We should love people the way they deserve to be loved and also the same way we want to be treated
Love is real
Love is kind and we need love

God loves us so who are we not to love Him
If the most high can love us and cherish us, we should do the same too

Through The doctrines we understand how we should behave ourselves in the church

We must love our enemies and friends alike, no discrimination.

love is the first doctrine of Jesus

Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me. God wants us to be good to all.
