Good day everyone. Today is another day that the Lord has made and thanks be to God. I won't say that I am not happy for the gist of life he has given to me especially. I am glad. In today's teaching, I learnt many things of which I would share them one after the other.
In Ecclesiastes 11:5 as said by Solomon, God is trying to tell us to read his words so that there will be increase in knowledge. I came to understand that we have to know what is right or wrong. Just as when we are kids and we don't know much about our rights, our parents will normally take us to their church or rather we follow our parents to church. As we grow up, we have come to realize that our mind have grown too and we now have the right to choose what's best for us in terms of the religion our our parents.
We are now open-minded rather than blindly following the wrong religion of out parents. Imagine if your house is on fire, we will definitely jump out even if it's from the window or any available place but a child will just sit there and be crying waiting to be evacuated.
In Isaiah 52:11, God is trying to tell us his words through the prophet Isaiah that we should flee from bad things. He also said something about that in 2nd Corinthians 6:16. He is telling us here that our body is the temple of the holy spirit therefore we should not defile them with sins and immoralities.
2nd Corinthians 6:17 on the other hand says that if we have known God well, he is telling us to come out of our old ways or rather unclean things because he sent his son Jesus Christ who died for our sins. We shouldn't have any other god except him. She should not serve, kneel down or worship any other god except him. He also told us more about this in 1 John 4:1 that we should not believe any spirit or false prophets.
In Mark 7:7, God is trying to warn us that there are many commandments of Men rather than the one from God. He elaborated further that there are many false prophets and we shouldn't listen to them at all. Likewise what John told us in John 7:17 where he said that there are many false prophets and these should be the reason why we should read the bible at all times and understand his gospel.
Ask and it shall be given unto us, known and the door shall open as in Matthew 7:7. Let's not forget to help the poor and needy. Let us be humble and meek like the lamb.
