2 Timothy 3:15-17.
Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! 16 Every Scripture has been written by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. 17 Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.
In Verse 17,the good work is the ministry of Jesus,God is not as much as delighted in the end as in the process, pleasing God is the step you take to get to the destination.
Romans 8:12
So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it. "
Being lead by the spirit means you are brought by the spirit of God.
Verse 13
"For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life."
To be admitted by the spirit of God is to mortify the body to live after the flesh is to be performance minded.
Can aman that exist by the spirit brought in by the spirit still be drawn to the flesh?.....YES
That action will lead to unproductivity in the spirit with leads to flesh
If you remember how you got save,it will not be difficult to work in the spirit.
Romans 5:8
"But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!"
You will not know how to work in the spirit if you never know how you came .
To live after the flesh is unbelief to mortify the dead of the body is faith .
Galatians 5:22-23
"But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions:
joy that overflows,
peace that subdues,
patience that endures,
kindness in action,
a life full of virtue,
faith that prevails,
gentleness of heart, and
strength of spirit.
Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless."
To walk in the spirit is to walk in the gift of no condemnation, our good character glorifies Christ not self to live after flesh.
The unbelief to walk in the flesh will be performance mindedness after faith to walk in the flesh leads to flesh condemnation and unproductivity.
To walk in the spirit is to trust God since the spirit is what we have received in salvation the spirit becomes our reality.
We are made with the spirit.
