Beloved i welcome you once again to my blog in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I will be sharing with us what i learnt from today’s live service via zoom.
I learnt that as a true worshipper of Christ there are certain things God expect from us, we shouldn’t be like dogs who always return to their own vomit’what you have abstain from when you accept Christ as your Lord and personal saviour you shouldn’t return to them…. You can’t eat from God’s holy table and eat from satan table also that’s makes you go back to your vomit.
Philemon 1:21
As a true Christian there are things we should do voluntarily, not everything God must command us to do….. God created us with leg’s to walk, mouth to eat, ear’s to hear, eye’s to see, God created us with all these features not because he can’t do everything for us but we have to do things for ourselves too as human,God can’t carry us from one place to another because he already gave us leg’s to walk, same vein there are things we should do ourselves that we know is right to God and man without being instructed by God, that is why we have conscience and brain to think and act rightly.
2 Corinthians 9:5
God did not stop nor instruct anyone not to marry in the Bible,God said we should go into the world and multiply, so it is wrong for any church to tell people not to marry for the rest of lives to serve God”No” that is man imposed law and not done by the person voluntarily…. If you chose to make a vow not to marry in your entire life it’s should be between you and God, vow is made voluntarily and not to be imposed on anyone, People have different ways of making vow’s to God, some make vow to God by pledge while some make vow not to do a particular thing until God grant their request, in the old Israel people make vows to God by not shaving nor cutting their hair until God grant their request, some also make vow in the house of God through pledge….. But you must fulfil your vow if God grant you your request, it’s a sin not to fulfil your vow’God can punish you if you don’t fulfil your vow, some apostles of Christ make vows in the Bible and they came back to fulfil them, there are some people in the Bible also who did not fulfil their vow… like the story of “Annanias and Sapphira Act 5:1-11” they were punished by God with death, you can’t lie to God nor deceive him “Galatians 6:7” vow shouldn’t be imposed nor force on anyone one it’s a self decision you chose to make and you must fulfil it.
Giving contributions in church should be a choice and self driven it’s shouldn’t be forced on anyone, some tell their congregation to give ten percent to the pastor from their income’ you should not impose on people a specific amount to give to the church it’s should be from their own free will, if you chose to give God ten percent from every of your income it’s should be a personal decision and nobody should force it on you and God will reward you in he’s own way….. but if you are forced to give and not from your own will God might not reward you because you didn’t give happily.
2 Corinthians 9:7
God love’s a cheerful giver, the church of God is operated with money’ there are bills to pay for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to reach everyone around the globe, the electricity, the internet connection, workers in church, the outreach, satellite’s,television and radio, all these are bills to pay, but you should not force anyone to give to support the work of God…. It’s should come from your mind to give to support the work of God.
