Beloved i welcome you to my blog in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it’s a great privilege to be sharing with you once again what i learnt from today’s preaching via zoom meeting.
I learnt that as couples you should submit to each other what is due for yourselves, as couples you don’t have power over your body but your spouse…. As a husband and the man don’t leave the chores meant for a man for your wife to do’ that’s maltreatment, marriage is a collective commitment it’s for better for worse so you are both obligated to help each other in everything.
As couples if you want to pray you must devote your time and commitment to the prayer, you can’t be praying as couples and still engage in the act of the flesh you must put all your focus in that prayer cuz there is time for everything.
Some churches don’t teach their congregation the true doctrine’s of Christ, for instance” as couples if you want to embark on fasting and prayer there are some certain things you need to abstain from,you can set a seven (7) days aside not to involve in romance fore play and sexual intercourse, this should be self discipline. Give your food to the hungry when you are fasting that is the true nature of fasting…so many people think they are punishing themselves when thy are asked to fast,…Scientifically” fasting can regenerate your immune system, this is effective and beneficial.
Matthew 6:8
We should learn to keep it to ourselves whenever we are fasting it’s should be between you and God if a third party know about it is no longer effective….. when fasting there is every tendency that temptation will arose,you will be tempered to eat, get angry, fight or even ague, but you have to resist such temptation’s,,, Jesus fasted for forty days and forty nights and was tempted by satan but he resisted.
Peter 2:14
As a married woman don’t let another man see your nakedness don’t commit adultery with another man, dress decently so that you won’t leave room for men to lust after you,….. and as a man don’t look at a woman in a lustful way it’s a sin unto God, there are men who don’t have self control even when their wife just gave birth they can’t wait for three or four week for her to heal before she can have sexual intercourse they will rather commit adultery, this is a sin unto God….Biblically if your wife is seeing her monthly cycle you shouldn’t make any advance towards her for sexual intercourse.
Ephesians 5:24
The husband is the head of the house just as Christ is the head of the church, as a wife you should be submissive to him in everything it’s doesn’t matter the qualifications or degree you hold so long he provides for the family be submissive to him…..As a woman you should be ashamed of yourself if you control your husband, you are not practicing the doctrine’s of Christ.
As a true follower of Christ men shouldn’t have a covering over their head when praying, and as a woman you should cover your head when praying it’s an honour unto God and to your husband, the covering on a woman’s head it’s a sign of authority and glory unto God.
As husband don’t do to your wife you won’t like to be done to you, don’t maltreat nor shout on her either in public or private’ cherish her because the way you treat your wife is the same vein other’s will follow, as a wife respect and honour your husband both public and private places don’t discuss your husband with your friends or family members, if you have misunderstandings you settle it as couples without involving a third party don’t give people reason to ridicule your household…… keep your house together as a woman cuz is your duty,, as parents be mindful of what you say in presence of your child don’t have an argument in presence of your child don’t give your child a wrong mentality about life,As parents live in peace and harmony and your children will emulate you when they grow.
This is the doctrine’s of Christ.
