Beloved i welcome you to my blog in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it’s a great privilege to be sharing with you once again what i learnt from today’s preaching via zoom meeting.
I learnt that the main purpose of gathering in the house of God is to worship God and learn more about the true doctrine’s of Christ, you don’t come to church when there is a special event or when you are celebrating your birthday or your spouse birthday’ attending church services is mandatory to us’ it’s an obligation…..when you are in the church of God learn to observe those brethren in church who don’t have good clothes to wear or good shoes to wear to church, take it upon yourself to change their clothes and make them happy’ if you don’t have enough to buy them new clothes take from your own clothes and give them to wear,. With this act of kindness you are fulfilling the purpose of God for you in life.
Hebrew 10:25
The main purpose of we gather in church is to watch and observe ourselves to know were each other lack, if you notice a brethren has changed he/she is not their usual self, it’s your obligation to find out what’s wrong with them have a deep conversation with them try to convince them to open up to you and find a way to render help, if it’s financial help and is within your means to assist them please do it’ if it’s spiritual help call other brethren in the church to intercede for him/her, this is what the gathering in the household of God is meant for.
Act 20:7
The main purpose of gathering in the house of God is to study the word of God,but most churches nowadays spend most of the times soliciting for seeds’ some churches spend most of the time teaching people on tithing and offering, it is good to teach that but it’s shouldn’t be the main focus’ some even commands their congregations the amount they should offer to God”No” this is not the doctrine’s of God….. studying the word of God in our gathering open our minds more to see the promises of God for us, Christ promise us a lot in the Bible but we can’t know this if we don’t study the word of God often.
Revelation 1:27
Singing is one of the good things anyone can be gifted with, not just sing’ but sing to glorify the name of God’ there are so many secular songs out there that does not glorify God…. The best thing that can happen to anyone is to be blessed with a talent to sing to glorify God, it’s a privilege for you to be blessed with such talent’ So many people sing to make money but when you sing to God money shouldn’t be the main priority, money and fame will come eventually but that shouldn’t be the main focus, don’t be carried away by such things. The Bible says”the angels sing to glorify God every morning” Singing Hosanna is the highest” God love praises’ In-fact the fastest way to get God’s attention is by singing he’s praise.
Luke 2:9-13
God himself sing even he’s son Jesus Christ sings too, having the gift to sing and glorify God it’s a privilege’ when gathered in the house of God singing is very important it’s bring down the glory of God upon us and he’s presence filled the atmosphere, we have seen most times in church during praises and worship miracles happen, the blind will see, the crippled will stand up and walk, the deaf will ear, that is the power of singing and praising God….David sang and dance naked unto God and God call him a man after he’s heart, David sang and the evil spirit that entered Saul departed that is the power of singing….. As Christians we should endeavour to always sing and praise God.
