Beloved you are welcome to my blog in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I will be sharing with us what i learnt from today’s teaching, I learnt that what God want from sinners is to repent and not perish,God gave us a lot of time to change from our sinful way’s and return to him’ there are people who are happy doing evil and they are enjoying doing it, but despite that God still want them to ask for forgiveness and he’s always ready to embrace and accept them back and open a new chapter for them because he is a merciful God.
The Bible says God created us in he’s own image and likeness,in other words” our physical look is the image of God but we are different from God in spirituality, the Bible said in John 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth”there are some illnesses we suffer in our body but God can’t suffer from such illness because he is God, Our body organs can fail e.g Kidney failure, heart disease, liver failure and many other diseases human body suffer, but God can’t suffer such diseases even though we have he’s image.

It’s an obligation for us to honour and respect our parents all the time,you shouldn’t wait still they get old before you respect and honour them’ if you disrespect your parents you should know your children will do the same to you and they can do worse, parents always want the best for their children’ they care for them and shelter them when they were little and can’t take care of themselves.

Honour your father and mother, and the Bible says if you dishonour your parents you will die’ this death might not be a physical death because there are people who are alive but they are dead already in the realm of the spirit, some are in such mess due to the evil and wickedness they must have done to their parents, Jesus respected God he’s Heavenly Father’ Jesus said in John 14:13 “And whatever you ask in my name, that i will do, that the father may be glorified in the son” this is Jesus giving honour to he’s father, Our parents represent our God here on earth they are more like our earthly God and they must be respected and honoured.
2 Corinthians 9:9
Like we discussed yesterday always help the needy when you have the means to, there’s reward in giving and giver’s never lack’ the greatest commandment is “love your neighbour as yourself” if you love your neighbour you will give them food when they are hungry, you can only show someone you love them by giving’ you don’t just say with your mouth “I love you” you need to show it…… there’s a great rewards from heaven when you give.
