Beloved i welcome you all to my blog in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it’s a great privilege for me to be sharing with you what i learnt from today’s preaching.
I learnt that baptism means the purification our body and soul, as Christians our positive change in life comes through baptism’ when you baptize you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour and old things are passed away, the bad things in your life are passed away.
Ezra 7:23
The law that was practiced in the Bible should be done in the house of God, but unfortunately there are so many churches today they don’t follow the law and the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ, the house of God is the church of God in the Bible’ baptism is the commandments of God and we should receive baptism in the house of God according to the laws in the Bible, some churches have different ways of baptism but be God instructed us to baptise “in the name of the father” and not “with the name of the father” it’s a preposition and commandments that must be obeyed.
1 Timothy 3:15
The church of God is the internal purpose of God and Christ is the head of the church and we are the body, baptism should be held in body and that body is the church of Christ’ even in the Bible the apostles baptism in one body and accepted Christ who is the head of the church.
We shouldn’t take the name of the Lord in vain, don’t mention the name of the Lord in vain it’s a sin unto God,
As Christians and true follower of Christ we should serve God in truth and with all sincerity, serving God in spirit and in truth comes with great rewards, as parents you should train your child in the ways of the Lord’ discipline your child in Christ way if your child grow up and become a great individual in the society it a big reward to you as the parent, baptism your child in the house of Lord this is the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we prepare to be baptised in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ baptism tomorrow, endeavour to abstain from things that are sin unto God, don’t fight or ague with anyone, don’t drink or smoke before coming for baptism’ it’s a sin unto God, as couples abstain from act of the flesh before coming for baptism’ purify yourself and if possible you can fast before coming except you have medical issues that prevent you not to fast.
