Beloved i greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it’s a great privilege for me to be here today again and the enlightenment of the word of God i have received for free from today’s preaching.
Today i learnt that the husband should give what is due to the wife and also the wife should give what is due the husband,as a woman you don’t have power over your body but your husband, the Bible command’s you to be submissive to your husband….. husband and wife should respect each other in marriage.
1 Corinthians 7:5
Couple’s should know the right time to commit the act of the flesh, when the husband is fasting the wife should understand and abstain from him at that time,likewise the husband should abstain from the wife when she’s fasting or in fellowship with God, understanding in marriage is very important and necessary as wife you should be able to intercedes for your husband when his not doing the right things that pleases God, same with the husband…. You should intercede for your spouse on their behalf and bring them to the right track of God’ this is what marriage represents.
In the time you are fasting you should be able to have a clean heart and forgive those that offend you,purify yourself before God and help the needy around you if you have the means.
When we fast according to science it’s re boost our immune system and reignite our entire body, fasting is very effective” Matthew 6:8
When you are fasting either as couple or single it’s should be between you and God only,no third party is allowed to know that you are fasting,once a third ear hear of it is no longer fasting.So many people intends to tell people when they are fasting “No” that is not the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible instructed us to give food to the hungry when we are fasting, the food you would have eaten give it to the hungry, this is the true definition of fasting.
Matthew 5:28
Whosoever that lust after a woman have sin against God, as a woman you should not wear seductive dress outside to seduce men who is not your husband that is not the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As a wife you can wear any kind of dress when you are alone at home with your husband because he have power over your body, As a husband if your wife is on her menstrual flow you should not commit the act of the flesh with her because at that moment she’s in pain and needs your care.
As a husband don’t let your wife wear seductive dress outside, you should be able to control your wife and family as the head of the house”is your obligation to protect your home as the husband and head of the family,as husband you should be able to provide for your family it is your responsibility.
Like we said in yesterday teaching, every man praying or prophesying with he’s head covered dishonoured the head, and every woman praying and uncovered her head dishonoured her man.
1 Corinthian 11:7-11
The covering of the woman is a sign that she’s in submission to her husband and our Lord Jesus Christ,and if a man have a long hair it’s a shame onto him and if a woman have long hair it a glory into her before God, for her hair is giving covering on her head.
This is the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ.
