Does A Law Enforcer Sin For Taking Someone's Life In The Line Of Duty? (Part 1 Of 2).... MCGI Topic Review.

A killing which is justified is not a sin!

Note that I used the word "justified", that is to say that killings by a law enforcement agent can be unjustified, an officer is only justified in using deadly force to stop a person who is or is about to kill or seriously injure another human being. Romans 13:4;

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Law enforcers are God's servants, entrusted with maintaining order and justice in a given society.

Romans makes it clear that God authorizes the authority of government to protect its people. Therefore if it is necessary to take a life to end a threat, that would be justified morally as well as legally.

Besides, No body, no human can take the life of another if God does not agree and it’s not his appointed time to die.

Job 12:10;

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind."

The soul of every living thing is in the hands of God.
