If there is a God, why do people die? This is a question on the lips of many, because we all, at one time or the other, have experienced deaths of relatives or close friends, some died young, while others died later in life. I want us to know this one thing according to the book of Hebrews 9:27;
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
It is God who appointed unto men once to die, that is something inevitable. Death tells us something and that is, we all inevitably will face the judgement seat of God, someday.
There's Only one being who exists and has immortality and that is God Almighty. I Timothy 6:16;
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
The one person that exists to whom power and honor belongs to, for everlasting, is the Father.
Matthew 6:9;
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name".
The Father is the only being that will not or cannot die but mortality belongs to all men that thread on the surface of this Earth.
