The Bible speaks of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), the dwelling place of God, emphasizing the need to care for them properly. Maintaining a balanced diet is key to a healthy body and eating wholesome foods that nourish our bodies is an act of honoring God.
example, incorporating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins into our meals is very important.
There are problems that go with eating so much luxurious or nutritious food. Our food choices must glorify God.
1 Corinthians 10:31;
"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God,”
We should always avoid gluttony and overindulgence.
Philippians 4:5, saying;
“Let your moderation be known unto all men.” Through moderation, we can lead lives that honor God and reflect His wisdom.
Whatsoever we eat we must always thank God for what we are to receive.
1 Timothy 4:4-
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving.
1 Timothy 4:5-
For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1 Timothy 4:6-
If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
The people in the church must know that every creature of God is very good.
So food, whatever it is will not cause any harm to our body if it be received in thanksgiving and in faith, so before we eat we have to thank God, we have to ask God to bless what we are about to eat.
