Romans 13:14 says, “Put on Christ and make no provision for the flesh and its lusts.”
This is the pure gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I can tell you that what is in the Bible is the best way of life, the way of the gospel, the way of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:27;
"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel"
That is the manner of life taught by Jesus to the apostles.
Our manner of life should be based on the faith of the gospel, we have to live our life in faith of the gospel and the gospel are all the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not the manner of the Ten Commandments or the commandments of Moses; it is the manner of the commandments of Christ which is called 'the gospel' in the Bible.
The efficacy of the law of Moses was stopped during the time of John the Baptist. Luke 16:16;
"The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it"
And in the inter linear Greek, the original book of Luke was written in Greek—we can see that it mentions "the good news" or "the gospel" . It is the theme of the preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ: preaching the good news or the gospel.
Mark 1:14;
"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God"
When the Lord Jesus Christ began to preach after John was put in prison and later beheaded by Herod, Christ was preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.
The preaching of the Lord Jesus Christ is the preaching of the gospel.
And doing the gospel and abiding by its precepts is the best way to live life as a teenager.
