Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.”
Right from my childhood days, I already felt God's presence and that when I obey what is written in the bible he will always be there for me. I am also punished for doing the wrong things.
My journey started when I was 9 years old. I was very stubborn and did not listen to my elders. I was a bully too. While I was playing 1 day, I accidentally inserted a small bead in my right ear. To make the story short, my family cannot remove and we went to the hospital and had it removed. I was very scared and 5 people was holding me down just so the doctor can do his job. All I remember was I was crying and trying to get away while the doctor was using something like an injection to remove the bead.
After that, the doctor gave us medicine to put in my ears every night. When it was healed, my poor right ear cannot hear anything. I did not care about that but I swore that it will be my secret to prevent myself getting bullied. I talked less as I cannot hear people when they are in my right side. Because of that, I became quiet and I just focused on my studies. We were around 30 students in a class and I went from rank 25 to top 10.
Now that I am 29 years old(will be 30 soon), I think that God purposely did that and planned to take me from a very bad path to a good new one. I listened more and studied more. I trust God and I think I will be not in a good place now if that didn't happen. Some people will be discourage if that happened to them but God gave me a strong character and healthy mind to think what should I do back then and what was the best for me. Of course I cant hear all what the teacher says so I need to focus and study in advance.
This will be it for now and I will try to share my journey 1 step at a time.
