Am here to share with you what I learnt from today mass indoctrination.
Singing praises is very important in the gathering of Christians
Singing came from God, and started before the earth was created
PSALMS 92:1 says
It is good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, o most high
Our God does not praise himself, so it's our duty to praise him. Exalt him with our songs of praise, with grace in our hearts
we have songs for so many things, more so that we can sing for God
If we can sing to our mothers, father's, loved ones, countries, etc,.why shouldn't we sing to the Lord most high who created our mothers, fathers, loved ones, countries etc
We're admonished not to sing praises to Mary or saints that died, but the lord most high
When the earth was created, the Angels sing, when Christ was born, the Angels sang
Singing hymns, spiritual songs and psalms should not lack in the gathering of Christians
COLOSSIANS 3:16
Let the world of Christ dwell in you richly In wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts.
Songs can bring deliverance to the captives, heal the sick, etc
PSALMS 32:7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt Preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance
Evil spirits could not stand the presence of God in 1 Samuel 16:23
David sang for Saul when he was tormented. The evil spirits fled.
We should learn to offer sacrifice of praise to God continually and giving thanks to his name
We should sing to God with grace in our hearts
Praises move God, while prayers move mountains.
