What does the Bible say about serving in the military?

Hello Everyone

I want to contribute to the question: What the Bible say about serving in the military.

Some people see the military is an organization of death... But that's a wrong impression of the Military...

The military is freedom, peace and protection of lives and property. Some people have wrong impression of the military as an organization of killers. People say Christians cannot not enter the military because they will be made to kill....but No that is foolish and shortsightedness
There are people who are shortsighted

Luke 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

The verse says we must not kill, we must not provoke violence but if there are killers around it is not your intention to kill But to protect lives, property and the society.

2 Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

according to the verse he that lacketh wisdom is blind... FOOLISH
The military are advised to be sharp shooters instead of killers.

a military is a caregiver of lives and property.

Although our hands cannot kill, but our hands can make gadgets to protect our lives.

Every creature living on Earth has the right to defend himself.

Self defense is an inborn right of every living organism. the Bible do not prohibit anybody from being a soldier

Thank you
