The true church teaches its members to do good to all and love all rather than to kill their fellow man.
If you know how to do good to your enemies, the more good we can do to those who are not our enemies.
We have a responsibility to do good to everybody. It is our obligation.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.
Our manner of life ,our relationship with others, doing good works express the word of God in us.
It can give light to people in darkness.
Philippians 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
By our God works that people behold, they will glorify God.
God gave us this obligation to do good works so that men may see that their is a true God.
1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Good works will serve as light for men.
Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
When men see these Good works, they will glorify the father in heaven. Our obligation is through good works that evil people may see the light and turn to God.
A church that does evil profess that they know God but their actions and way of life shows that they lie.
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Do not dwell with evil people, they will corrupt your good manner and way of life. They will mislead to way that lead to destruction.
1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
We are meant to expell those who do not obey the doctrine.
Titus 3:10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject.
The commandment of God is to do good to all men, love your fellow men in the church.
The true church is meant to show love to all men, including their enemies and do good works, give to the needy.
The fruit of a true church is to win souls for God.
Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
If you convert a sinner from the error of his way you shall save a soul from death.
God delights in those that wins souls for him.
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Through the works we have done God shall multiply us.
Jeremiah 30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
Their are churches that multiply through the works of the flesh, not because of God.
Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
We should compare one thing to another to find out the truth.
Ecclesiastes 7:27
Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account.
