Thanks be to God for another time given us to learn from the mass Indoctrination session.
I am sharing what I learnt from today's mass indoctrination service.
I learnt that, we have to listen to the doctrine of Christ. There are many doctrines but God wants us to listen to the doctrines of Christ.
When we listen to the doctrine of Christ, and believe, we will be baptised.
Baptism is the first doctrine that we have to obey. Before Jesus ascended to heaven, he gave the disciples instructions to into the world and make disciples baptising and teaching them.
So when the apostles won souls, they baptise them and then taught them the word of God.
Again, the apostle Paul a member of the Jewish church, was called by Christ into the church of God and the first doctrine he obeyed is to be baptised. He was baptized and then he joined the church.
So what we have to do now is to examine the word to see the truth and then when we accept then we will be baptised and join the church. Because there are many false teachings around so we have to examine the word of God first before baptism.
More also, after baptism, what we have to do is to join the church.
The church is established by God through Jesus Christ.
The church is the body of Christ and we gentiles are the body. So we have to join the church and become members.
Christ is the head of the church and Christ also talked about the church in his word. So we have to obey the word of Christ. If we accept Christ we have to also accept his word. By joining the church.
The church was established by God for eternal purpose.
The true church in the Bible is the church of God. We have to join the church true church that is where we will receive the true baptism and be members of the church and we will learnt the true word of God.
