In today's mass indoctrination service, I learnt few lessons and I want to share them with everyone in this community.
I learnt that, the church that God established has a true name. This true name came from the fact that God is the owner so, the church was named after him.
The true name of the church is the church of God. And not any other name.
Many churches have been established bearing different names. All those names are not biblical. According to the scripture, the name that should be given to the church is the church of God. That is what the scripture talked about.
There are many churches like the Roman Catholic Church, the Presbyterian Church,the seventh day Adventist Church, the Lutheran Church etc. All this churches were not named after God. They gave them a different name and that is not what God talked about in the scripture.
The church belongs to God and so he also wants us to worship him. Many religions have changed the truth. Instead of worshipping God, they turn to worship animals. God doesn't want us to worship animals but to worship him only.
Man is higher than animals so we don't have to worship them. Many religions worship the creature instead of the creator.
Man is able to tame animals, even most dangerous animals are being tamed by animals so why should we worship them. They are all created by God and so we don't have to worship them. We have to worship God who created those animals.
I also learnt that the true church that God established, is for us to join it. It is very necessary for us to join the church.
The church was established by God through his son Jesus Christ who is the head of the church. And the members are the body of the church. The Bible says that the gentiles are the members of the body which is the church. Gentiles are those who are not Israelites. So it's clear that we are all gentiles and so it is necessary for us to join the church.
Some religious leaders say there are no more church but fellowship or conversation. So it is not necessary to join the church.
That is not true. God established the church for eternal purpose. So we have to join it. That is where we will be taught all the doctrines of Christ and we will obey it. God wants us to join the true church and study his doctrines and obey them.
This is God's will for us.
