Thanks be to God for giving us the opportunity to study his word once again.
Bellow are some important points that I learnt from the indoctrination service today.
When we pray God answers our prayers.
Prayer works, so we should take note that when we pray our prayers will be heard by God.
we should forgive people who offends us.
We have to learn how to forgive others their offends because God forgives us our sins. It is very important to forgive others when they offend us. When the person who offended you realize their offends and ask for forgiveness we have to forgive them.
prayer must be done also for those who offends us.
we should also pray for those who offends us and not to spread information about them. praying for those who sin against us is the commandment of God.
confession of sins should be done to God because the priest is no God. Then secondly confession should be done to the person whom we have offended.
We also need to love others.
I learnt that , we have to love because, love covers alot of sins. when we love, we look beyond one another's sins so we are able to forgive one another.
so it is very important that we show love even if we have been offended, that will enable us to forgive.
The house of God should be a house of worship.
God does not dwell in the house made by man so the house of God should be a house of worship
Our body is the temple of God so we have to keep our body from anything that defile it.
We need to keep our body clean for God because he duels in it. We have to abstain from Any Act that will cause us to sin.
We don't have to repeat our Prayer.
During prayers the prayer must not be repeated. Because it is prohibited by God. We have to pray day and night to God and it must be done through Faith.
God already knows what we are about to say. He knows our hearts and minds so we don't have to be repeating our words when we pray.
What I learnt from the teachings are,
God is a prayer answering Father, and he is always ready to answer our prayers so, we don't have to repeating what we say during prayers, because he already knows our hearts and minds.
there is no need for us to pray repeating our prayers because God is ready to answer so the few words that we say , God hears and will answer us.
That is how God wants us to pray.
