Hello brethren in Christ,
With much joy, I want I am sharing another lesson that I learnt from Mass Indoctrination day 7.
During the session, I learnt that There is a kind of fellowship that is taught by God to the brethren in the church of God.
According to the Bible, God commanded us to love. So the primary commandment to the brethren is to love.
God wants us to love everyone.
God loved the world so he let the sun shines on everyone both good or evil.
God has given us his commandment to love.
Firs, we have to love God. God wants us to extend our love to him first.
Secondly we extend our love to our neighbours.
We must love those that are in the the church and then those that are not in the church.
The love that we show to those in the church, the same love we have to show to those that are not in the church.
According to the Bible we have to show love to all men even including our enemies. Those our enemies in the church and outside the church we have to love them all and show our kindness to them.
When we extend our love to everyone including out enemies they will see our good works and come to Christ.
We have to show love to our enemies by feeding them when they are hungry and also give them drink when they are thirsty. Even we can also lend to them when they are in need of only we have it.
By so doing we can bring them to Christ.
Also in the church there must be unity among the brethren. We have to forgive one another and be merciful. Holding no offends again each other. When a brother offends us we must forgive and let peace come between us. We don't have to take issues to court against our brethren. In the church, we have leaders so we can settle issues in the church and not taking it to court.
This will bring unity amongst the brethren in the church of God.
So the primary commandment for the brethren in the church is love for all.
