Hello fellow brethren in Christ,
Once again, the Lord has made it possible for us to listen and study his word that was taught by our own brother Eli.
I want to use this opportunity to share with you what I learnt from the Bible study from the live zoom service.
I learnt that as Christians we should learn to show gratitude to those who have contributed to our success in life.
A lot of people have helped us in one way or the other. We need to let them Know that we value and chearish what they have done for us. God's word want us to be grateful to people who have helped us.
Our parents most expectially did alot for us when we were children. They did a great job of taking care of us till we become adults. We don't have to reject them but to show love and gratitude to them for their good work in our lives.
Many friends and loved ones have helped us when we encountered difficulties, so we have to let them know that we appreciate what they did for us and thank them very much. When we do that, God is pleased with us.
Again we have to thank God for everything he has done for us. It is God that showed loved, kindness, support and protection in our lives. We need to thank God every day for what he has done for us.
The Bible says with thanks giving we make our request to God in prayer. So God will be Happy if we give Thanksgiving for what he has done for us.
I also learnt that, all things work together for our good to them that love God.
So we can learn from this that everything that happens to us is leading us to the good side in our lives.
Both bad and good things happen but they are all there for our good. So we have to always give thanks when good or bad happens to us. Because we love God, he directs us to the good. So when the bad things come your way don't reject God because he still loves and cares for us so the end will be good. Let us try to give thanks to God in all situations.
God also want us to help the poor and needy. That is one of the main doctrines in the church of God. There are alot of people who need our help. We have to help them if we can, because it is our obligation to do so. Let us show love to others.
