As we continue to listen to the words of God from Mass Indoctrination sessions our Christian Life improves. In this post I have gathered some few lessons that I have learnt from Mass Indoctrination day 5.
I learnt that,
When married couples are fasting and praying, in the church of God it is a doctrine for them to practice abstainance or self control from any sexual activity so that their prayer will be heard by God.
Couples can come together after the prayer and fasting is over.
When they do that, their prayers will be heard by God.
Again, when the woman is in her menstrual period, it is prohibited for the man to have any sexual contact with her. At that moment, the woman is unclean as the scripture says. So it is not advisable to do that at that moment of the woman's period.
During fasting and prayers we have to give our food to the needy. Because, we don't eat at that period so God wants us to give what we have to the needy.
And again, forgive others who have offended us so that God will also forgive us our sins.
We have to release those who are under bondage. So that they will have their freedom.
When we do that, our prayers will be heard by God.
Another point is that, when a man is pray or prophesying, his head should not be covered. But a woman's head should be covered. Because the woman's head is The man and the man's head is Christ so the covering on the woman's head is a sign of honour to the man and Christ.
The woman's hair is given to her as a covering so she keeps a long hair. But the man should cut his hair. To she that he has no covering.
Lastly, Marriage couples should Love themselves.
The man should love the wife and the wife should also be submissive to the husband. The man should provide for the woman and the woman should respect the man. No matter who a woman is, she should respect her husband because that is the doctrine of Christ. The woman should not take control over the man at home. You are not the head. It is the man who is the head of the house. So when you obey this doctrine your prayers will be heard by God.
