GREETINGS BRETHRENS
I Bring you all greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Will like to use this medium to appreciate God for the Opportunity of being part of this wonderful Denomination, and also for the privilege of being among the living alive and sound.
So during the mass indoctrination day 12 meeting that was held on zoom these are the lessons I got from the meeting.
Through the teachings if this meeting, I was made to know things about the heart of man.
The HEART OF MAN was simply a focus point in the meeting.
I opportune to know through this meeting that it is simply the heart that determines the type of person we are, whether rude, kind, or wicked or mean it is all as a result of the heart. Through the Bible, we were been able to recognize the various types of heart and that these hearts are the base rock upon which a man is made, as every decision being made by the man comes from the heart.
As we went further into the meetings, We were being told about the parable of a farmer who went out to sow some seeds on his farm, and we were told that when as he went on to sow these seed, some fell on Rocky ground, and some then fell by the roadside, while some fell amongst thorns, and some of the seeds fell on a good and fertile ground. Through this parable we were able to know that our hearts is actually like these seeds that were meant for slowing. This therefore implies that where those seeds fell, some persons have the rocky ground heart, some people have heart by the roadside, some have well have the thorny heart and lastly, some have the good heart with which when the word of God is planted it will grow and bear good fruit.
Through this teachings From the service I was able to learn that the seed which was to be planted is the word Of God while the location with which the seeds fell on is our hearts.
Furthermore, we were therefore enlightened on the differences between the various types of heart men possess. All these are therefore explained in the subsequent paragraphs below.
The roadside heart is a type of heart that is seen as that heart which cannot hang onto the word of God for long so the devil easily come and steals the word that has been sown into them, brethren should always listen to the word and most don't allow the devil to steal it away from them.
Also, a heart seen as the seeds that fell amongst thorns are simply the type of heart which receives the word with excitement but when it gets difficult, they would not hold onto the word of God and the word will simply be chucked by the thorns.
Finally those that fell on good and fertile soil or ground are simply the type of heart that , receives the word, hears the word and also keep the word and also do not let the devil steal it away from them.
All These are the types of heart we men have and posses and there every believer knows where they belong even without been told as we all know ourselves better than others do.
We were all encouraged during this mass indoctrination day 12 from the book of Ezekiel 36:26-27 that God has promised everyone who comes with a good heart who can keep his word in it, that He God will make such a heart be like that of the good soil where the word of God will grow and bear good fruits in hundred folds. Furthermore, we were all advised that Brethren who do not have the heart of the good soil should try as much as possible to change that.
MY FORMAL BELIEFS
Before this teaching, I was on the belief about the parable of the sower all thanks to God for passing through the service to enlighten me as I would make sure my heart is like that of the good soil which receives and hear the word of God and keeps it until it grows and bear good fruitful.
EFFECT OF THE TEACHINGS ON ME AND MY LIVING
I will therefore try to make sure I live my life in path of the good soil. To allow my heart hear the word of God and I will therefore try not to allow the enemies to steal the seed which is the word of God that has been sown in me.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
If we make good use of the word we have learnt our heart will be fertile for the word of God to grow. In as much we are not perfect we should try to do what the bible says.
